What is a Nightmare Dungeon?
In the world of DivineRO, all classic dungeons have been reimagined as Nightmare Mode challenges, offering the possibility to rediscover them again but akin to the difficulty level of Thor Dungeon.
These high-level dungeons offer greater difficulty but also greater rewards, allowing you to upgrade your Random Options with unique materials rewarded upon completion of the dungeon as well as a big treasure chest.
Nightmare Mode dungeons are designed for the most daring adventurers. Here's everything you need to know:
How to Enter?
To access a Nightmare Dungeon, you need a Nightmare Key obtained when defeating MVPs. Once you have enough keys, you can create an instance through the in-game main menu.

Dungeon Mechanics
Once inside, your party will have specific objectives to complete before you can face the MVP of the dungeon. Here's what you need to do:

| Complete Floor Objectives | Each dungeon floor has quests that must be completed. |

| Find the Prints | Look for Prints that may contain information on summoning the MVP. Not all prints will be helpful! |

| Unseal the Seals | Break the seals scattered through the dungeon to unlock access to the MVP. | 
|
| Summon the MVP | Use the Altar to summon the MVP. Write down all 6 runes you found. You may be able to choose which MVP to fight, depending on the dungeon. |

MVP and Rewards
Once you defeat the MVP, a big treasure chest appears. The difficulty level of the dungeon determines the quality of rewards.
Fragments can be dropped to upgrade your Random Options.
Refining Your Random Options
After collecting fragments, head to Prontera's Forge to refine your options. The NPC at the forge will allow you to refine your random options based on the materials you’ve collected from the Nightmare Mode dungeons.
Additional Features
- Parallel Worlds: In the future, we may add parallel worlds with Nightmare Mode available in all fields.
- Higher Rewards: As you progress through the different levels of difficulty, you'll be rewarded with greater materials for upgrading your random options.
